2 Samuel 1:13-16 – This Amalekite said he helped in killing Saul hoping to receive some kind of reward because everyone knew Saul’s jealousy for David. We don’t know if he actually did it or if he stumbled across Saul’s body or watched someone else do it.

But the fact is that he boasted about harming (killing) Saul who the Lord had anointed as the first king of Israel. David was a man after God’s own heart so this act of pride did not sit well with his spirit and the man lost his life.

May the fear of the Lord return to the West in which people of God honor the Holy Bible and those he placed in authority. May we learn to do what the Bible says is right and not what we deem right in our own evil eyes. It is God who places people in positions and our role is to pray for them and honor the Lord despite their failures and commands that may not always align with his will.

At all costs, we follow God and keep our mouths and hands off the Lord’s anointed. Otherwise, their blood will be on your hands. This is why Israel will always be at war: they rejected Jesus Christ and nailed him to the cross. The Bible still speaks! 🔥
