Winning in Spiritual Warfare

Hello everyone! I’m back again with a blog post of my notes from today’s church service. I am a member of Dr. Creflo Dollar’s World Changers Church International. Yes, you heard that right! Before you jump on the bandwagon with the naysayers, take some time to actually sit and listen to my pastor preach the Word of God. Faith comes by hearing by the Word of God. Truth comes to those who seek and find it. My hearts hurts when “Christian” folks slander the names of men and women of God in ministry who do not align with their opinions. Before you go calling people like…Creflo Dollar, Paula White-Cain, Kenneth Copeland, Joseph Prince, Joyce Meyer, Beth Moore, and Jesse Duplantis “false prophets and prosperity teachers” – take sometime and actually sit and listen to their ministries and judge for yourselves. This is wrong and God takes this serious! Ok… I just had to get that out, because it’s so frustrating! Stop doing that. Pray and seek truth.

Now without further ado, let’s get down to the notes of today’s message!

My Sermon Notes for Sunday church service on 01-24-2021 by Dr. Creflo Dollar, World Changers Church International

There are wicked demonic spirits that after you and they applaud you for not thinking that Satan or God exists. (unseen demonic forces that have no flesh and blood)

John 10:10 KJV

Ephesians 6:10-12 AMPC

The more you’re in the Word and empowered by the Word, the stronger you’ll be. Draw your strength from Jesus Christ.

Luke 10:19-20 KJV

God has given us absolute mastery of demons.

And nothing by any means shall hurt you.

But rejoice about being born-again not your power of the enemy.

1 John 5:4 KJV

Q: What is worldly? A: Lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and the pride of life

We live in this world, but not of this world. Those who overcome the “world” are those who have faith in Jesus Christ (victory that overcomes Satan and the world).

Do you really believe that Jesus is the Son of God and can authenticate your belief?

James 4:6-7 KJV

A prideful man has an over exaggeration of his self-importance and will not submit to God’s Word – God’s way of doing things. He submits to his self-effort, self-righteousness, and self-preservation. God wants to give him grace but his position resists grace.

A humble man has a low estimation of his self-importance. He will comply and submit to God’s Word and God’s way and grace can be given to him.

The devil will flee from this man.

1 Peter 5:5-8 KJV

Submit to God’s Word or yours.

The way up is low. Submit yourself to God’s Word so that God can do things in your life.

If you do not cast your cares onto the Lord, you are prideful.

A prideful man says that I’m going to keep my care and worry.

A humble man will comply – casting his care upon God. God will give your grace to deal with the situation.

The opposite of sober is to be intoxicated with your senses off.

Satan is trying to devour those who will not belief and not submit, who are prideful who do not think they need God. He depends on those people so that he could devour them.

Proverbs 3:34 KJV

God gives grace to the humble.

These scriptures talk about grace and resisting the devil because they go hand and hand. Grace will cause us to win in spiritual warfare. Knowing about unmerited favor and believing it and submitting to it.

“The devil has no defense against a child of God who knows grace!”

Grace will cause to win against spiritual warfare.

Submitting yourself to grace will not open the door to the devil.

2 Corinthians 12:7-9 KJV

Thorn of the flesh – the messenger of Satan

That “thorn in the flesh” was trying to get Paul into pride because of the revelation that Paul had.

When it looks like you are weak because of Satan’s attacks, God’s grace is sufficient.

The devil can only be successful if you are performance-centered, and under the law. Under the Law of Moses, people think that “you have to do this to get that.” As soon as you trust yourself and not God, Satan wins every time.

You do not have anything that’s greater than the blood. You cannot finish the work that Jesus has already finished. It’s such a dishonor to do what Jesus has already done. Under the Law is what you do for God, but under grace, it’s what God does for you! The devil cannot win when you operate under grace (new covenant).
