Black History Month: Poet Phillis Wheatley

Happy Black History Month 2020! I hope that you take time this month to learn about some of the awesome African Americans that turned their gifts into profit, and trials into triumph. Today, I am going to share about the life of Phillis Wheatley. She was an African-American Poet who was kidnapped and sold to a master in Boston around the time of the Boston Tea Party. She is just an inspiration to me, and I hope that she will be for you. Thank you for watching! As always, please like, share, comment, and subscribe.
