If you were to ever visit my home, don’t be surprised to see Bible verses randomly posted on the walls, mirrors, and refrigerator. I post scripture around my house as a reminder of the truth. I am who God says I am, and I have what God says I have according to His Word!

I never want to go a day without reading, praying, seeing, meditating, and speaking God’s Word. His Word has creative power and so does our tongue and the Holy Spirit in us. No matter what we feel or think, the Bible encourages us to “walk by faith and not by sight.”
“”He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed“” (1 Peter 2:24, NIV).
“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5, NKJV).
These two scriptures go hand-in-hand as they correlate to healing and wholeness. The OT scripture is a prophecy, and the NT scripture is a fulfillment of that prophecy. Amazingly, each verse speaks of healing in the past and present tense. This obviously tells me that my body is just like Jesus’, no matter what it seems like. “As Jesus is, so are we in this world.”
The symptoms that my body and your body or circumstance may be in is only a lying symptom. God can’t contradict His Word. If we’re healed, then WE ARE HEALED! The symptoms don’t mean God is a liar. They mean that Satan is a liar and everything is temporary. God will prove Himself faithful if only we believe and be patient.
I believe that the cure to my healing is already accomplished through the blood and finished works of Jesus Christ on the cross. I believe that my healing has already manifested. I am not denying the struggles in my life. I am just confessing the truth so that my body can agree with my heart and spirit. I refuse to limit God, drown myself in worry, or put God on my clock. I am healed already! Although I may not feel or see it right now, I know that I will soon.
It’s okay to seek doctors, counselors, ministries, friends, or loved ones for help. I am only encouraging you to seek God first for the direction you need to take, and use His Word as priority to boost your faith and trust in the Lord.
I am sharing this as an encouragement for you to use scripture as medicine for whatever issue in your life. Choose whatever verse that speaks to you and your condition. Rather you need healing physically, emotionally, spiritually, or financially, God’s Word is an everyday tool to help us believe and receive wholeness in any problem area in our lives.
It is God’s will to heal. Healing is the children’s bread. Jesus’ body was broken for ours to be made whole in every way and He was nailed to the cross for our sins. This is why we take the Lord’s Supper with honor and purpose. Don’t you ever feel condemned, unworthy, or unloved. Jesus died to give you everlasting life. He wants your life to be abundant. Receive His Word into your situation and never give up!
Put on the full armor of God and rest in God’s promises. You already have the victory through Christ. You are an overcomer. You are God’s beloved. You have the power. You can do all things through Christ!
